My favourite traditional Log Cabin quilt design, and a great place to start making a few changes.

First up, I changed the outside light coloured pieces to dark.

The next logical step would have been to make the two inside light pieces dark, but I skipped that step, and started adding two light strips to the dark side.

I like the last one … but will keep playing!
